We are seeking a Lighting Technician (L3) to work with the Show and Event Services Department in the Buffalo Branch in Buffalo NY., Warehouse Lighting Technician (L3) Overview: Responsible for the set-up, breakdown, and operation of small to large lighting systems for live events. Reports to and works with the Lighting Department Head to execute show needs.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external.
- Maintain a professional image in compliance with company appearance/dress code
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation/Maintenance Lighting fixture setup and focus, electrical and dimmer controls, lighting console programming and operation.
- Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment
- Strong computer skills CAD or VectorWorks a plus
- General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Dcor, Staging abilities & knowledge
- Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties
- Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
