Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience: At least four (4+) years of banking experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse lending, loan operations, or the mortgage industry preferred
• Proficiency in financial systems and software, with advanced skills in Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse lending legal documents and mortgage originator business models.
• Experience with ProMerit or equivalent systems.
• Leadership: Ability to provide clear direction and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing documentation and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Professionalism: Demonstrates a high level of integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting entries, funds transfers and execution of warehouse funding advances and settlements for Mortgage Warehouse lending
• Work with partner banks on syndications and participations related to warehouse lines
• Develop accounting procedures to support HELOC, Gestation, Mark-to-Market, and syndication related payments
• Process funding advance wires, fee processing and investor wires within established service level agreements
• Manage the mark to market interest invoicing and net funding transfers
• Perform General Ledger research and adjustments
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage submissions for audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Product Development Support: Collaborate in the development and implementation of new mortgage finance products.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify and address regulatory and procedural non-compliance issues.
• Maintain data integrity across various systems.
