About The Position

The Warehouse Lean Replenishment Driver is a warehouse associate role within the Staples World Class Supply Chain Team, responsible for delivering essential products to customers. Associates may be assigned to one of six areas: Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Warehouse Replenishment, Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Warehouse Returns, or Shipping. Key duties involve operating various material handling equipment, picking and moving products, performing general cleaning and maintenance, ensuring product accuracy, communicating with internal and external contacts, manually handling and palletizing products, and organizing and loading customer orders. Safety is a paramount concern, and all associates are expected to adhere to and promote safe work practices.

Requirements

Ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment
Ability and willingness to keep work area clean
An inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues
Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need (if hired as a Full-Time associate)
Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
Must wear safety composite shoes
Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks
Pick product up to 100 lbs
Move product within the warehouse
Adhere to safety procedures
Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility (as a Warehouse Porter)
Confirm accuracy of product and work with colleagues to address discrepancies and damages (in Receiving/Putaway/Returns)
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts to clarify and resolve issues (in Receiving/Putaway/Returns)
Manually unload trucks and palletize products (in Receiving/Putaway/Returns)
Match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items (in Returns)
Check in returned product and tag it appropriately (in Returns)
Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets (in Shipping)
Load trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment (in Shipping)
Stack empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace (in Shipping)
Ensure safe work practices and embrace the safety culture
