The Warehouse Lead is an integral part of the Operations Team by ensuring accurate inventory levels, managing Kanban items replenishment, leading receiving process and supporting kitting process for production.
Ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw goods
Define and implement receiving and shipping process, improve material flow in the plant
Controls inventory levels by monitoring Kanban level, conducting physical counts and reconciling with ERP system
Responsible for managing Kanban card and warehouse material replenishment
Coordinates/organizes delivery of products to maximize trailer usage
Analyze root cause for inventory discrepancy and develop corrective action plan to resolve defined issues
Oversees kitting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of production kits to the production area
Supports training of any new warehouse employees or other employees interacting with warehouse
Identify and find new opportunities to improve safety and inventory control procedures
Maintain and update key performance indicators
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Basic skills with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience or knowledge of doing annual/monthly/weekly inventory cycle counts
Ability or willingness to learn how to read the bill of material on production drawing so that the correct warehouse items can be picked and kitted for production
Experience with ERP software strongly desired
At least 3 years' experience with progressive responsibility in warehouse role
Experience managing others is a plus
Forklift experience is required
Bilingual is preferred
