The Job: As a Warehouse Lead, you’ll be part of our STANLEY® Engineered Fastening (“SEF”) Hopkinsville, KY Team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Monitors shipping paperwork throughout the warehouse Tracking and scheduling the loading and unloading of trucks Responsible for transmission of ASNs for automotive Calls truck lines daily for part pick-ups including expedited freight Responsible for international shipping of product (export paperwork) Maintains positive and productive communication with internal and external customers and suppliers Maintains organized filing system for related paperwork Maintains Shipping related policies and ensures proper procedures are being followed of packaging and other warehouse related supplies Special projects related to cost savings or other business-related improvements within Logistics Collaboratively work with Supervisors/Managers to ensure timely response to customers both internal and external Other duties as assigned The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • 3+ years experience in shipping warehouse coordinator functions
  • Advanced knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and JDEdwards
  • Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
  • Common sense understanding to carry out work instructions
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good computer knowledge, preferably with Microsoft office
  • Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects timely
  • Ability to work overtime as required and assist with weekend emergency shipments as needed.
  • Ability to give basic instruction and provide oversight to warehouse.
