About The Position

Are you experienced in optimizing warehouse processes and leading teams to success? We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead with strong organizational and time-management skills to join our Western States Team at our Sun Prairie location. The Warehouse Lead supports the Warehouse Supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position helps oversee daily activities, monitors the flow of goods and materials, supports team performance, and drives continuous process improvement. Requirements

  • Prior Forklift operation certification required
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Strong inventory management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead or in a similar role preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily operations and staff oversight
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support problem resolution across logistics operations
  • Assist with employee selection, hiring, training, and evaluation
  • Support employee development, productivity, and performance improvement.
  • Help motivate, recognize, and reward team members
  • Review and monitor timeliness of scheduled deliveries
  • Coordinate and control cycle counting and inventory accuracy
  • Order supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and workflow optimization
  • Ensure facility equipment is properly maintained
  • Maintain compliance with safety, health, and housekeeping standards
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Complete shipping and invoicing functions for various programs
