About The Position

The Warehouse Lead works in conjunction with the Supervisor to carry out daily and weekly orders for the department. Leads, directs, and coordinates the shipping, receiving and inventory control of the distribution center. This includes ensuring the daily operations of the department operates efficiently and timely, while meeting quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Ensures proper documentation is completed for all inbound, outbound and inventory in compliance with document control
Monitor departments compliance to policies and procedures, for the shipping, receiving, and inventory control within the framework of corporate expectations
Responsible for the departments' safe working environments; ensuring that company and statutory hygiene, housekeeping and safety policies and procedures are complied with
Adhere to SOPs and the shipping, receiving and inventory schedule for the departments
Maintain and review shipping, receiving and inventory records
Investigates and researches claims on shortages or other order discrepancies.
Assists, when necessary, with put-away product, work order pulling, distribution transfers and loading/unloading inbound/outbound.
Communicate with leadership regarding any discrepancies, delays, or inconsistencies
Assist in the delivery of team’s goals and objectives established.
