About The Position

FORSHAW is seeking a solutions-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Lead for the Richmond branch. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the warehouse team, interfacing with customers, and inventory management. Your goal will be to deliver delightful customer service by communicating professionally and managing orders in ways that align with FORSHAW’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of excellent customer service, order accuracy, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. You must have high attention to detail and be a strong team player to succeed in this role. FORSHAW is a third-generation, family-owned and operated national pest control distribution business headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina with eleven offices strategically located throughout the U.S. providing exceptional, hands-on service to our customers. Requirements

  • 5 Years warehouse experience including forklift and pallet jack
  • Basic computer experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes
  • Routinely bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Handle all picking, packing and shipping of products via LTL and UPS
  • Be responsible for inventory received, placement, product counts, and upkeep
  • Maintain shipping documents before and after deliveries
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations by communication in person with customers, providing information on ordering and delivery times
  • Take customer product orders to back up Customer Service Rep and Salesperson
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
  • Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
