About The Position

Conklin Metal Industries is looking for a Warehouse Lead to support our Jackson (Richland, MS) branch. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside the team while helping guide daily operations. If you enjoy staying active, keeping things organized, and helping a team run efficiently, this is a great opportunity to step into a leadership position with a stable, growing company.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of warehouse experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
• Experience in industrial distribution (HVAC experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using computers (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to lead by example

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead from the Floor
• Work alongside the team in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Support the Team
• Provide day-to-day direction to warehouse associates
• Help train new hires and reinforce best practices
• Promote a positive, team-focused work environment
• Keep Inventory Accurate
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Ensure materials are stored properly and discrepancies are addressed
• Prioritize Safety
• Follow and enforce safety procedures
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
• Improve Processes
• Identify ways to improve workflow and efficiency
• Partner with leadership to implement improvements
