About The Position

Position Overview Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead will oversee the shipping, receiving, storing and inventory of all materials within the warehouse.

Requirements

Leadership skills
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Excellent communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
High School Diploma or GED required
Warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment required
Must be able to successfully operate a forklift in a warehouse setting
Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Able to ascend/descend stairs
Valid U.S. Driver's License required

Nice To Haves

Experience using SAP preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities
Ensures efficient and accurate inventory control and management
Performs inventory cycle counts
Attends daily logistics meetings to discuss objectives, problems and action plans
Trains new employees on warehouse operations and forklift operating procedures
Leads receiving process for all incoming goods and materials
Keeps warehouse organized and optimizes the use of storage space
Collaborates with other departments to improve warehouse processes and procedures
Fills in for Dispatch role and assists with loading/unloading trucks with forklift as needed
Become a certified “Train the Trainer” and leads forklift training efforts
Serves as a jack-of-all trades within the Logistics Department and assists wherever needed
Other duties as assigned by Supply Chain Supervisor
