About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for all activities associated with product receiving and distribution. The Lead will plan, oversee daily warehouse operations, training staff, ensuring a productive workflow throughout the warehouse, act as the liaison between management and the warehouse team. This position will work Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm.

Requirements

• GED or High school diploma
• 3 to 5 years of Warehouse Lead experience preferred – A minimum of 1 year lead experience required.
• Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery.
• Work productively with frequent interruptions.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with departmental colleagues, other organizational units, and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and previous experience working with Agility and/or Macola programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day warehouse activities, coordinates workflow and motivates team.
• Ensure all warehousing activities including order selection, receiving, replenishment of (dry, cooler, freezer), loading of donations and other materials are conducted safely, efficiently and effectively.
• Perform inventory controls, replenishment reports and drops, printing of pick tickets and pallet labels.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; maintain clean warehouse supply areas; complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
