About The Position

Zachry has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Lead to join our Equipment Asset Management Services’ team. The Warehouse Lead will be primarily responsible for day-to-day upkeep and organization of onsite inventory at the Tool Center located at the home office, assisting with inbound deliveries and outbound shipments. WORK ENVIRONMENT The Warehouse Lead will work in multiple environments, including office, warehouse, and in a trailer or building on construction sites during all seasons and not always in a climate-controlled environment. They must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less. Job site will contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms. Requirements

  • High School - GED
  • Strong verbal, written and problem-solving skills
  • Basic Microsoft - Excel and PowerPoint essential
  • Able to travel 0-25 % of the time
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Wearing and utilizing personal protective equipment where/when needed (e.g. safety glasses, gloves, reflective vest, leather steel toe boots with a defined heel, face shields, ear protection)
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings to discuss current and upcoming department workload.
  • Respond daily to internal verbal and electronic inquiries regarding status of tools and equipment.
  • Develops and maintains suspense record systems dealing with status of tools and equipment, or data, some or all of which may be classified in nature
  • Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that includes but is not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Have attention to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Candidate must exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and collaboration, and enhances productivity in the workplace
  • Demonstrates strong decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Inspect and safely operate a conventional forklift. Without the need for immediate supervision
  • Inspect and safely operate small hand tools including but not limited to hammers, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, various shipping tools, electrical (corded & battery powered) and pneumatic powered tools
  • Occasional use of proprietary asset management software and other procurement systems.
  • Perform day-to-day tasks safely, efficiently and accurately without the need for immediate supervision.
