Our Opportunity We are looking for an exceptional Warehouse Lead for our Magnolia , MS Retail location . Summary/Objective Responsible for supporting daily operations of specific product sets at the facility or location. Supports delivery services and storage arrangements, ensuring maximum utilization and efficiency of facility personnel and equipment while maintaining full compliance with regulatory, safety, and organizational guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience in agriculture or a related industry, preferably in a hands-on role such as a material handler, operator, CDL driver, agriculture customer service, or administrative support, with a proven track record of progression and ready to take on next level job responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or GED; may be offset by experience; agriculture or related degree helpful
  • Valid driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy
  • Excellent working knowledge of product chemistry
  • Knowledgeable of grower production practices and ag technology systems; knowledgeable with the wide range of products sold
  • Good computer skills with the ability to successfully operate all software related to the job responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal/managerial/customer service skills to deal effectively with a broad base of customers, suppliers, and location personnel
  • Ability to adapt well to frequent changes in sales priorities in product mix sold, supplier programs, work schedules, and demands of a changing customer base
  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety regulations and guidelines
  • Lead and support a specific product set or specific area at the facility or location and comply with all OSHA, DOT, EPA, and GreenPoint Ag EHS guidelines
  • Direct the daily product delivery schedule to ensure an emphasis is placed on customer service
  • Train and motivate personnel in operations such as loader operators, applicator operators, and truck drivers on the safe and efficient use of equipment and vehicles
  • Receive and inspect incoming products for quantity, quality, and condition of product or equipment to support overall location succes s
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to effectively manage walk-in customers and in-store sales, depending on location size
  • Maintain a high level of expertise to establish yourself as a reliable and credible source for agronomic knowledge
  • Attain and hold a qualified commercial driver’s license and remain compliant with all regulatory requirements
  • Operate equipment including bobcat (fertilizer), seed treater, forklift, and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Assist in the warehouse as needed, including loading and unloading fertilizer, seed, chemical, and other products and moving inventory
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals; formulate and implement departmental procedures to maximize output; monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures

  • Provides guidance and direction to designated team members to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Monitor team performance, offering feedback and support for continuous improvement to department, site, or location leadership
