About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This role serves as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, coordinating tasks such as receiving, shipping, and putting away materials and products. The Warehouse Lead plays a key role in maintaining high levels of productivity and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a 100% ONSITE position in Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Previous warehouse experience 2-4 years
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP & Excel
  • Able to work independently
  • Teamwork, Dependable, and Reliable
  • Available to work occasional weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion.
  • Key liaison between warehouse and the shipping office
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
  • Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfilment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist in inventory control and cycle counts.
  • Report any issues, delays, or discrepancies to warehouse management.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Support automation tools like barcode scanners, RFID, and conveyors
  • Ensure data accuracy (e.g., stock movements, bin locations).
  • Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor with overall management of facility
  • Assist leadership with staffing, coordinating temp workers, and liaising with partner organizations
