About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Warehouse Complex, Forklift Product Handler – Lead’s responsibility, in addition to the Product Handler responsibilities, is to demonstrate and provide positive leadership, motivation, training, direction, and team building to ensure members of the team successfully complete their assigned duties. · In the absence of or at the direction of complex management, be responsible to direct the team towards daily task accomplishment. · Have an above average understanding of company Standard Operating Procedures in regard to hop receipts, inventory, movement, storage, and shipment. · Qualify and sign off on new product handlers training. · Communicate with both the office and allocations via phone and electronic technologies to receive and understand objective assigned to the complex by the company. · Interpret assignments and integrate them into daily workflow. · Verify and sign off other crew members ship instructions. · Verify carrier pickup insuring proper documentation prior to release of product. · Conduct inspections of container shipments for integrity, security and pictures. · Follow all guidelines for work safety and good manufacturing process. · Operate forklift. · Ensure load matches order prior to vehicle exiting complex. · Maintain a broad in-depth knowledge of the products and warehouse operations. · Possess alertness and adaption to warehouse routines. · Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). · Follow all food safety and hygiene policies. · Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product. · Maintains accurate documentation for all related activities and completes forms and reports. · Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. · Performs other related duties as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license preferred.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • At least two years of work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Individual must be able to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Must maintain a good attitude and be professional daily.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physical demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, working at heights, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting and stooping).
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, loud, and labor-intensive environment in variable temperatures (from outdoor heat to indoor refrigerated coolers).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
