This position will lead order picking, truck loading process, warehouse inventory, customs bonded warehouse and forklift operation. Also responsible for confirming counts from production to warehouse; quality control of all outgoing product and setting up orders of incoming stock. Responsible for safety and cleanliness of work area; care and maintenance of property assigned to his/her use and works together with staff to support the goals of Company. Understand and comply with safety requirements of the lead position in the warehouse; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from working unsafely while performing their job duties. Report all safety concerns, all accidents and near misses immediately to manager. Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations. Keep workplace clean and free of debris at all times Ensures the warehouse meets regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, TTB, and Customs regulations. Takes immediate corrective action when needed to stay in compliance; performs job in a responsible manner and in compliance with Company procedures and applicable rules and regulations. Assist the Warehouse Team Lead to ensure accuracy in reporting. Monitor inventory and assist manager in resolving inventory issues to maintain plant compliance Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, quality and environmental policies and practices. Work with Warehouse Lead to set the culture of the team, continuously seeking ways to improve performance and improve quality driven actions that lead to the award winning results. Actively engage in keeping work area and facility up to the established standards Acts as a skill-development resource and an example, for other employees in the warehouse, develops a personal development plan with manger to improve skill/competency that will develop personal skills and improve performance. Improves at least one skill each year as agreed with manager and delivers on performance against outcomes Maintain inventory records. Perform cycle counts and month-end physical inventories. Ensure compliance with federal and state required labeling on cases before the cases are shipped by supporting the staging and recon crews with direction and materials. Coordinate outbound order appointments and hand out tasks to loading crews. Coordinate customs bonded warehouse entries, withdraws, and inventory Continually seek ways to improve performance as measured by departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Play an active role in driving hourly and daily goals using tier 1 Performance Boards. Utilize performance boards to document suggestions, seek solutions to problems and work towards efficiency goals Deliver the highest and most consistent levels of internal and external customer service. Do everything possible to help generate and complete the daily shipping schedule. Ensure that all orders are completed per the customer’s request. Fix any and all issues that arise, and complete before the order is sent to the customer Develop and maintain solid professional working relationships. Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with company values. Actively participate in making the plant and company a great place to work.
