About The Position

Under limited guidance this position will: Responsible for overseeing the general operations of the warehouse. Supervise the Warehouse Technician to receive, ship, record, and maintain inventory accurately. Effectively manage, build, and forecast the Warehouse Operational budget of $1 million+ per year. Order and maintain inventory to ensure the inventory year-end exit value falls within management guidelines. Approve all purchase orders and invoicing for warehouse operations. Plan and oversee all internal audits on the warehouse monthly, quarterly, and annually. Forecast staffing levels and warehouse cost opportunities according to predicated/known workloads. Build reports to measure the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee performance and communicate results to stakeholders. Maintain detailed records and complete budget reconciliation with Accounting. Collaborate with other teams to manage, prioritize, and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments. Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to work procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of warehouse, inventory or asset management experience.
  • Experience with inventory tracking or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse operations with proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Possess knowledge of warehouse software packages and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
  • General understanding of parts and materials used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends affecting costs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, listen and write clearly, thoroughly, and timely using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Ability to foster teamwork, work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
  • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
