About The Position

Dubak Electrical Group is looking to hire a Warehouse Lead to join our Operations team due to our growth and expansion. For the Warehouse Lead position the primary responsibilities will be in the warehouse environment of an electrical contractor. Dubak Electrical is a family-owned company since 1988. This position will be for our Plainfield, Indiana location. The primary job duties include but are not limited to, knowledge in warehouse activities and experience in the following areas: Plan and organize daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain an efficient, productive, and safe work environment. Supervise warehouse staff and drivers. Develop efficient warehouse procedures, optimize space, and improve productivity. Maintain accurate tool, equipment, and asset inventory records Knowledge of electrical parts, hardware, and components Stocking parts accurately and efficiently Understanding and familiarity with a wide range of tools Ability to work in a fast paced environment Work well with other co-workers by being a team player Must be timely and work with a sense of urgency Organization of equipment and materials General cleaning/maintenance of warehouse and shop areas Forklift safety awareness (actual forklift training preferred, but not required) General safety training in a warehouse environment Must be mechanically inclined Job duties will be approximately 90% warehouse and 10% driving responsibilities Must have computer knowledge, we would prefer prior inventory control and Microsoft office experience Clean driving record with valid Driver's License required Expectations: Must be able to work extended hours on an as needed basis and perform tasks such as: lifting (max 50lbs ), climbing ladders, crouching, and bending.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is required
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR
  • Comfortable with backing 16’ box truck or 20’ equipment trailer in tight spaces
  • Must have computer knowledge, we would prefer prior inventory control and Microsoft office experience
  • Must be able to work extended hours on an as needed basis and perform tasks such as: lifting (max 50lbs ), climbing ladders, crouching, and bending.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in warehouse supervision is preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical parts, hardware, and components is preferred but not required
  • Forklift training preferred, but not required
