As the Warehouse Lead at McLane Global, you will coordinate and assist in the supervision of the activities of the warehouse pertaining to the inbound/outbound process.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions).
  • Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

  • Ability to work with specialized mechanical and basic hand tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office D365, RF Scanners

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the management team to help coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse.
  • Monitors the replenishment, selection, and loading of warehouse products to ensure the efficient flow of products in the warehouse.
  • Provides training for employees on job technique and/or safety requirements.
  • Assists in resolving warehouse issues, problems, or conflicts.
  • Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
