Join our team and be responsible for a healthier America! #WhereYOUMatter Summary: Plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of medical products to include prescription drugs and devices, received from suppliers to ensure on-time, quality shipments to customers.

Requirements

  • Able to successfully work in a changing environment
  • Ability to work in fast paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong managerial and conflict resolution skills. Able to effectively train, coach and mentor personnel; provide current, direct, complete, and "actionable" positive and corrective feedback to others.
  • Basic computer skills. Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Able to operate UPS/FEDEX online software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly through verbal and written means.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
  • Ability to operate all battery equipment. IE, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Pallets Rider.
  • Organized and efficient. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Experience with Warehouse management system (WMS)

Responsibilities

  • Assist and oversee picking/order fulfillment duties.
  • Oversee the unloading of trucks, inspect for damaged merchandise, matching purchase orders to bill of lading/packing slip.
  • Assist with receiving, i.e. purchase order receipts, data entry on company computer system, scanning, labeling, and sorting.
  • Coordinate work, train and motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of Warehouse Associates.
  • Document and maintain working procedures for all tasks.
  • Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked and shipped
  • Perform product inspection for outgoing orders and perform a secondary quality check of other team members’ orders for accuracy of outgoing orders.
  • Process orders through FEDEX, UPS and USPS online service or other approved carriers.
  • Monitor and confirm records on incoming shipments. Ensure receiving reports accurately report material received.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all FDA and DEA procedures and guidelines – ensure staff is educated and acting accordingly.
