About The Position

Warehouse Lead will handle the activities and operations of the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse.
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
  • Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
  • The customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard.
  • Motivated and work well with others.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Willingness to embrace change in a growing company.
  • Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day.
  • Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and train new hires on the warehouse standard operating procedures.
  • Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies, and Inventory Items.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure products are on hand as needed.
  • Participates with Inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company.
  • Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
  • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received.
  • Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by following all warehouse SOP's and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
  • Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
  • Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
  • Organize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.
  • Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
  • Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
