Warehouse Lead /Delivery Driver Non-CDL - Colony Tire and Service Department: Colony Tire and Service Location: Charlotte, NC Colony Tire has an opening for Warehouse Lead/Fill-in Delivery Driver! Summary: Manually and using powered equipment, move tires and stock material manually and with a forklift warehouse environment; perform other general labor as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. This is primarily a warehouse position with the possibility of driving a delivery truck as required by daily needs. Drive a delivery truck (18-24ft Box truck) on a delivery route to deliver products to customers when requested. Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
  • Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damages shipments.
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
  • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
  • Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
  • Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
