EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A candidate for this position must have completed a 4‑year accredited apprenticeship and must be certified in Industrial Electronics from an accredited school. The candidate must also have 8+ years of hands‑on experience in PLC programming, including electronics control troubleshooting and working with complex communication protocols across various control systems such as VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, servers, and Kinetix drives. Additional requirements include a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, demonstrated ability to apply industrial electronics principles in practical settings, and the technical competency required to work with advanced control and automation equipment. Experience using Ignition for SCADA programming and modifying interface pages is also essential.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain upgrades and install all control systems for all equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians.
  • Full responsibility for building, assembling, installation, maintenance, proper operation, repair and overhaul of all warehouse Equipment Controls, PLC’s, HMI’s, CMMS, SCADA systems, and OEE dashboards.
  • Read sketches, prints, operation, instruction, etc., and determine procedure.
  • Check materials and parts and make requisitions.
  • Lay out work from sketches and drawings.
  • Manage all equipment, electrical documentation, programs, and schematics.
  • Design and layout electrical and control panels.
  • Run electrical conduit and pull wire.
  • Install Lighting, fixtures, and controls.
  • Troubleshoots and repair equipment and facilities for electrical failures.
  • Other duties as directed by Maintenance Manager and Union Supervisor.
  • Must adhere to all safety and GMP policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Must always follow all company’s/CBA policies.
