About The Position

The purpose of the Warehouse Lead Associate is to lead a variety of warehouse delivery tasks to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of HVAC experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
  • Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy
  • Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question

Nice To Haves

  • One year forklift experience preferred
  • One year warehouse experience preferred
  • One year customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure shipping and receiving functions, including receipt of delivery, processing of returns and warranty are completed accurately and timely
  • Coordinate inbound receiving schedule allowing ample time for freight to be received and put away accurately on a daily basis
  • Maintain the organization and appearance of the warehouse to ensure inventory is presentable and accurate
  • Maintain inventory accuracy to include: perform discrepancy counts, cycle counts, bin locations and various daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintains relationships with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of product and payment of freight claims for lost and damaged shipments
  • Coordinate building maintenance and security
  • Verify, receive and put away incoming stock
  • Pull, pack, stage and ship outgoing orders and transfers
  • Assist customers with orders, as needed
  • Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
  • Operate handheld scanners to receive, move and track inventory in and out of the facility
  • Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle count and physical inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
  • Operate site vehicle for customer and branch orders, as needed
  • Maintain regular, punctual and reliable physical attendance
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
