About The Position

Sundt is seeking a warehouse laborer for our project in Phoenix, AZ. Ray Rate is $17.95 per hour with an additional cash fringe. Position would be to support construction logistics working directly for the project superintendents. Duties would range from misc carpentry, housekeeping, fall protection installation, forklift operation, and general labor work. Must be able to pass pre employment drug screen. Requirements

  • NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
  • Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.
  • Take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.
  • Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
  • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
  • Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
  • Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
  • Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
  • Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information is available for the work.
