About The Position
The Pallet Sorter position at Relogistics Services, LLC involves the critical task of hand sorting pallets to grade while ensuring that all trash and debris are removed from the pallets before they are returned to the customer. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the pallet management process. The Pallet Sorter is expected to achieve production requirements while upholding a clean and safe working environment. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug test, in accordance with local and state laws and regulations. In this role, the Pallet Sorter will be responsible for hand stacking pallets to appropriate heights, adhering to inventory control instructions. The position also requires loading and unloading materials from trailers by hand, moving pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, and checking loads to ensure they are secure. Additionally, the Pallet Sorter will examine products to verify their conformance to quality standards and utilize yard management systems to coordinate trailer moves. Completing all production paperwork accurately is also a key responsibility. The Pallet Sorter will communicate directly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager and must maintain Relogistics efficiency and performance standards of production. A clean and safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards is paramount, and the Pallet Sorter must be accountable for achieving Relogistics results while adhering to the company's Core Values and Safety Standards.
