Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist where you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory through daily cycle counts, monitoring product identification, and researching discrepancies. You will work closely with the Inventory Control Coordinator and may occasionally operate machinery such as a cherry picker to access high shelves. This role requires a commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will also be expected to perform physical inventories and audits, ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for.

  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity
  • Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
  • Research inventory discrepancies
  • Work with Inventory Control Coordinator
  • Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Determine reason for discrepancy; follow-up with proper manager to correct issue
  • Occasionally operate cherry picker or other machinery to reach items on high shelves for counting
  • Perform physical inventories, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations
  • Operate a cherry picker to reach some of the warehouse inventory
  • Follow all ABC safety protocols
  • Promptly report and clean up spills, breakage, or other issues
  • Lift 35-50-pound cases, sometimes a hundred times a day
  • Stand on feet for 10+ hours a day
  • Maintain minimum productivity standards per department
  • Assemble boxes for spilt case line
  • Clean, sanitize, and keep warehouse tidy
  • Prepare work area for next day, including charging equipment and organizing area
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 1-2 years of inventory counting, or inventory management experience required
  • Solid computer skills, including Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Mathematical skills to count, add, subtract, and multiply as needed in position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Logical reasoning ability to sort out issues
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience using WMS (Manhattan) scanner
  • Experience and/or certification in cherry picker operation
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Must pass both drug and background checks prior to starting work
  • Must speak and understand job-level English
  • Have a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthy
