About The Position

Responsible for replenishment of consumed goods and controlling inventory/supplies in a Warehouse material/issue material environment. Responsible for inventory accuracy through inventory cycle counting and problem resolution. Responsible for investigating goods receipts/invoice receipts discrepancy. Controls plant stock outs and responsible for outbound products and scheduling of trucks. Coordinates with production managers to provide appropriate materials/supplies for any new product or process introductions in timely. Updates and maintains inventory records on SAP system. Documents inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses and removals of items. Receives items by unpacking trucks and shipping containers. Verifies items received by identifying information of items; inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to order and packing list. Marks and places received items in stock; establishing inventory reorder points; reporting items to be reordered. Fills requests by issuing and delivering items. Maintains equipment operational by following manufacturer's operation and maintenance instructions and established procedures; calling for repairs.

Requirements

  • HS/GED plus 1-year inventory control / cycle counting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with SAP
  • Experience life equipment operator (Reach Lift, Order Picker, electric pallet jack and counterbalance)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
