Responsible for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records and able to research any discrepancies. Display a strong understanding of the equipment he/she uses, the location of product, and the lay-out of the warehouse, slot location, lost sales, mis-picks, pack size and all other applicable product information. What does it mean to be part of the Inventory Control Team? Our Inventory team is responsible for tracking all inventory within our distribution centers. This includes maintaining accurate records and researching any discrepancies of product. It is imperative to understand the layout of the warehouse to ensure proper location of product. Researching any damages/adjustments of product, tracking expiration dates and alert management of any potential safety concerns that may arise. Within this department, you will ensure proper handling of damaged and/or spoiled merchandise, pulling and processing salvaged product, review and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, and work directly with procurement and local operations leadership to provide recommendations.
