About the position
The Warehouse-Inventory Associate at Horizon Chemical LLC plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of the warehouse and inventory operations. This full-time position involves working closely with management to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for inventory control, while also providing excellent customer service to clients. The associate will be responsible for managing parts and equipment, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with various operational tasks in a safe and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out parts and equipment
- Pick service ticket materials for technician teams
- Pick chemical-delivery orders (multiple pallets per truck)
- Monitor inventory levels
- Assist with vehicle maintenance
- Help the chemical delivery team with various tasks
- Work directly with the Operations Manager on general warehouse and facility tasks
- Organize the parts room and chemical warehouse
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Safety-focused with the ability to handle hazardous chemicals
- Strong sense of pride and ownership in work and workspace
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn a new industry
- Physically able to perform job and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Warehouse experience
- Customer service experience
- Inventory control experience (NetSuite experience preferred)
- Warehouse management system experience (preferred)
- Forklift certified
- Ability to validate and receive large chemical deliveries
- Mechanically inclined
- Results-driven
- Team-oriented
