A fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment manufacturing world-class communications equipment and solutions for public safety customers around the world. Perform material control functions in order to maintain accurate stock levels as measured by regular audits. Participates in weekly inventory quality meetings to review inventory issues, accuracy, and material flow through the system. Initiate corrective action measures with all departments involved when necessary. Monitor improvement from week to week. Create, maintain and update warehouse Standard Work Instructions and 5s documentation. Report data in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong commitment to process, quality, execution, and on-time delivery. Ability to cross-train coworkers on processes and tools. Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • 3+ years in a Lean Manufacturing Warehouse
  • 3+ years in an inventory control function
  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to process, quality, execution, and on-time delivery.
  • Ability to cross-train coworkers on processes and tools.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and expertise in various material replenishment systems – kanban card, two bin, and reorder points.
  • Strong computer experience with the Google suite of programs – especially Google sheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
  • Knowledge Of BOM and structure is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work a different shift for short periods if needed
