Assist Warehouse Manager with daily duties of warehouse operations.
Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to resolve work-related problems.
Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained on load sheets.
Examine freight to determine loading sequences.
Assist with morning prep inspection of forklifts.
Inspect equipment for wear and conformance to safety specifications.
Share in minor repair work and housekeeping responsibilities for the work area.
Prepare for morning start-up duties with the Warehouse Manager.
Ensure trucks are loaded correctly with deliveries and have necessary equipment available for crews.
Inspect storage vaults to ensure they include clean pads and clamps on the door.
Inspect and repair storage vaults and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Remove trash and debris daily and align storage vaults and lift vans within each row.
Inspect vehicles to ensure all items are properly removed and located within the warehouse.
Assist with SIT intake, including wrapping, palletizing, and trailer loading.
Assist with warehouse releases, unwrapping, and staging shipments for drivers.
Repair and prep lift vans for reuse, ensuring cleanliness and proper fitting.
Prepare State Department lift vans to meet specific codes and requirements.
Clean and organize trailers, ensuring all equipment is in place and trash is removed.

Warehouse experience preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.
Ability to work well within a team setting.
Basic knowledge of different classifications of storage.

Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
Familiarity with safety specifications and equipment inspection.
