About The Position

This position is responsible to assist the shop by running parts, washing trucks, fueling, inventory control, light janitorial, and assisting mechanics with other duties as needed. Will need to display professional and courteous attitude with customers, vendors and team members. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a maintenance, mechanic or construction career.

Requirements

• Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow.
• Communicate effectively to co-workers, management, suppliers, and others you encounter.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Must have a "Safety First" attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
• Basic knowledge of shop and plant operations.
• Must have good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to operate small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping of shop, warehouse, yard and equipment
• Help assist with shop logs, daily reports as needed
• Clean and washout equipment as needed.
• Assist shop mechanics
• Assist fuel and lube technicians
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Consistent lifting of 50+ pounds throughout the workday.
