About The Position

The Shipper/Receiver position in the warehouse is a part-time role focused on safeguarding the district's investment in materials through efficient and effective warehousing practices. The individual will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipment receipt, and delivery of supplies to district facilities.

Requirements

• High School education required or equivalent training and experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Possess or be willing to possess the proper training to operate forklift equipment.

• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and work independently, as well as part of a team in carrying out the warehousing program for equipment and supplies.
• Assist with the inventory and stock control program for equipment and supplies.
• Receive shipments and confirm orders.
• Drive a truck and/or van to deliver equipment and supplies to new and existing facilities of the district.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Board Secretary/School Business Administrator or Purchasing Supervisor.
