About The Position

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full time General Warehouse associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities of this position are to pick/pack orders and deliver to our customers in an accurate, efficient manner with safety being a priority.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a NON-D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Capable of climbing ladders and standing for extended periods of time.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Palm pilot / RF training a plus along with formal warehouse equipment training including but not limited to: Forklift, Powered Pallet Jack, and Manual Jack.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety at all times – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times.
• Responsible for picking and packing orders for customers and sales professionals based on priority assigned by management.
• At times will be tasked with receiving and putting away product delivered in from our vendors.
• At times will be tasked with providing safe, accurate, and dependable delivery of orders on an as needed basis to cover open routes as directed by management.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties daily as directed.
• Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
• Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Perform additional warehouse duties that may arise and assigned by management.
