About The Position

The Warehouse Generalist is responsible for supporting the operations of the warehouse by assisting with the distribution, preparation, shipping, receiving, stocking, and delivery of materials. This role ensures that all merchandise is accurately accounted for and properly stored, while also maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of warehousing experience.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and dollies.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Certification of Forklift operations (Reach Truck and 3-Wheel Forklift) is required within 90 days.
• Ability to operate a computer and software, including UPS and Federal Express.

Responsibilities

• Receive documents from carrier and verify amounts.
• Record amounts of materials received in POS computer system.
• Keep shelves stocked with merchandise for customer purchase.
• Promptly deliver product to customers using a box truck or other vehicle.
• Verify items to be delivered and obtain proof of delivery from customers.
• Prepare, package, and ship orders.
• Ensure work area is clean and organized.
• Record details of deliveries by accurately maintaining the delivery log.
• Ensure vehicle is serviced as required.
• Assist with annual inventories.
• Assist in resolving problems concerning warehousing, shipping, receiving, and issuing.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory controls and inventory records.
