The general labor worker is responsible for assisting with the routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment, and offices. During Showtime, this role will help support the set-up and tear-down of the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist with routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks in and around facilities. Perform basic landscaping duties such as mowing pastures, trimming hedges, and weed eating. Help with janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash hoppers, and restocking supplies. Support the maintenance team with minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and assembling furniture, painting. Assist skilled workers and various trades when asked. Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work sites. Must be able to operate a forklift and have the desire to learn the operation of other equipment. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required. Works collaboratively as part of the team to assist others as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
