About The Position

The Warehouse Worker position involves preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, which includes loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. The role also requires receiving and processing warehouse stock products, performing inventory controls, and maintaining high quality standards for audits. The worker must keep a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization. Additionally, the position involves completing diary logs into inventory, reporting any discrepancies, and communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers. The Warehouse Worker will operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively, follow quality service standards, and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. The role is primarily focused on repetitive tasks on a designated line within the warehouse, including picking, packing, and sorting products according to customer orders, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency to meet daily production goals, often utilizing warehouse management systems.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
• The work often requires standing or walking for long periods, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs regularly and heavier with assistance), and performing repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Responsible for repetitive tasks on a designated 'line' within a warehouse, primarily focusing on picking, packing, and sorting products according to customer orders, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency to meet daily production goals, often utilizing warehouse management systems
