About The Position
Join our team of more than 34,000 team members at BJ's Wholesale Club, where we are dedicated to supporting our members and communities. As a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our members receive their products in a timely and efficient manner. This part-time position is located at our Brookfield, CT location, and offers a starting pay of $16.50 per hour. You will be responsible for performing general warehouse activities, which include pulling merchandise from a pick list, physically breaking down merchandise, building and shrink-wrapping packages, and moving merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area. You will also utilize a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, as well as operate various equipment as needed. In this role, you will be an Omni Experience Ambassador, working within all digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Your responsibilities will include carrying out job functions as assigned, supporting the application of club policies and procedures, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for both members and team members. You will be expected to act with honesty and integrity, always keeping the member in mind and addressing any concerns that arise. Collaboration and respect are key values at BJ's, and you will work as part of a team to achieve goals while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Your daily tasks will involve delivering service excellence through all points of contact with members, resolving and de-escalating any member concerns, and ensuring adherence to GOLD Member Standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining club standards, including cleanliness and organization, and understanding how to access and read production and financial performance reporting for your department. This position requires a commitment to timely order picking and operational efficiencies, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Regular attendance is essential, and you may be required to work in other departments as needed.
