The Warehouse/Forklift at Mountain Man oversees warehouse product flow, organization, and staging to ensure that setup and operations of the warehouse supports the continuous and efficient running of safe and quality production. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documentation.
  • Basic understanding of product tracking systems.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
  • Certified to operate a forklift or similar machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet truck drivers in the designated reception area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and completing the Receiving Checklist accurately.
  • Label incoming products with tracking tags, recording key details like date, product description, case count, and lot numbers for proper documentation.
  • Verify ingredient labels and ensure correct tagging before moving products to warehouse or processing areas.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operators to stage pallets based on the oldest dates and maintain accurate tracking of product movement.
  • Maintain organized and clean product storage, ensuring proper labeling and stacking of pallets and bins.
  • Support production processes by switching out bins or pallets, and delivering materials promptly as requested by the production manager.
  • Troubleshoot product flow and equipment issues, coordinating with the maintenance team and escalating mechanical problems when necessary.
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and checklists, reporting any problems to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Ensure that all product quality, quantity, and employee/hour totals are entered into computer systems accurately.
  • Work with cleaning crews to maintain cleanliness and follow all company safety standards and procedures, including SQF compliance.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
