About The Position

Position Summary: The warehouse forklift operator position is responsible for loading and unloading material in a safe manner. They are also responsible for the storage and staging of material. They are responsible for the safe operation of powered industrial equipment. Essential Functions Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and policies. Load/unload incoming trucks. Ensure packing slip matches what is unloaded. Store incoming material in warehouse racks. Relocate items within the warehouse. Pull material to the production staging area. Pick up material from the Press Shop. Pull material for Press Shop and Laser department. Complete daily check list for the forklift. Remain vigilant. Check for damaged goods. Ensure product moved physically is also accurately moved in PrintStream Count and return leftover material. Accurately receive material. Additional Responsibilities Duties as assigned by leadership. Sign in and deliver FedEx/UPS packages. Complete own move sheets if receiving employee is busy. Stack and sort through pallets. Demonstrate behavior consistent with DMS Values and Code of Conduct Always adheres to all DMS policies and procedures Learns and adheres to all Information Technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures Learns and adheres to DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safety Completes all required compliance training on time and in good faith

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Fork truck and Clamp experience a plus
  • Able to maneuver up to 1,000 pounds (rolls)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Stong computer skills, including all Microsoft products
  • Ability to interpret various forms of instructions and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Excellent decision and problem-solving skills
