About The Position

The Warehouse Forklift Driver uses tools and equipment to pick, sort, move, and store materials within the warehouse ensuring efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. The role involves using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
This position reports to the Materials Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY and is an on-site role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
• Attention to detail is crucial for accurate inventory management and record-keeping.
• Basic computer/data entry skills are helpful for tracking supplies and inventory.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment from 50-75 pounds.
• Familiarity with operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and products from loading docks to delivery vehicles, ships, or storage areas.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes inventory, often using electronic tracking systems to maintain accurate records.
• Collects and sorts materials for order fulfillment or production, sometimes palletizing them for shipment.
• Operates manual and power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to handle materials.
