Core Values: Trust, Teamwork, Integrity, Commitment, and Respect Purpose/General Summary: As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid forklift operator's license or certification.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good physical condition, able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to independently make decisions with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to pass E-Verify.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products safely within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring that items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Organize and rearrange the inventory as necessary to keep the warehouse orderly and efficient.
  • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs or safety issues immediately.
  • Verify the quantity and description of items received or shipped against packing lists, purchase orders, or transfer orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow all plant rules and regulations when in the processing plant
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and high standards in employee performance and safety.
  • Understand and follow our animal welfare policy
  • Other duties as assigned by management
