About The Position

We are hiring a Warehouse Floor Supervisor to run daily operations on the floor. You will work directly with Lumpers and Client Supervisors to manage workload, keep trucks moving, and make sure jobs are finished correctly and on time. This is a hands-on role. You need to be present on the floor, lead from the front, and handle problems as they come up.

Requirements

• Warehouse experience required
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Experience with lumping or freight handling is a plus
• Able to lead a crew and communicate clearly
• Able to handle a fast-paced and physical work environment
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable and on time

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Lumpers loading and unloading freight
• Communicate with client supervisors to understand daily workload and priorities
• Assign crews to trucks and adjust as volume changes
• Make sure trucks are completed and closed out properly for billing and incentives
• Track production and keep the team moving at a steady pace
• Step in and fix issues on the floor before they slow down operations
• Train new workers and hold the team accountable for performance
• Enforce all safety rules and correct unsafe behavior immediately
• Keep the work area organized and free of hazards
