About The Position

This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. The role involves performing various warehouse operations and ensuring adherence to safety and food policies.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 80lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous Stand up Forklift experience.
• Ability to work indoors in a cold environment throughout the shift to fulfill orders, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse or production environment.
• Previous experience in cold or refrigerator environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing warehouse operations such as loading/unloading trucks, lifting boxes, stacking boxes, handling product, palletizing & scanning labels into inventory.
• Interacting regularly with peers and management.
• Operating forklifts and rideable pallet jacks.
• Understanding and adhering to all food safety policies, safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
