About The Position

The Warehouse & Facilities Manager supervises, directs, and monitors facility and property maintenance, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as OSHA and the EPA. Purchase, maintain inventory of supplies and tools, manage all leased properties, and oversee fleet vehicle care and maintenance. They will also oversee the daily operations of all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory management, staff management, maintenance and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, training and/or maintenance certifications/licenses.
  • Three years of experience in maintenance, and a minimum of 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a general office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, assign, and perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and security. Responsible for monitoring landscaping, office furniture, janitorial, housekeeping, and security performance. Inspect buildings and equipment for repair and maintenance requirements.
  • Respond to emergency facility requests. Assist in the development and management of capital budget.
  • Ensure accurate collection of all maintenance and work order records. Maintain a variety of records and prepare reports for management review. Responsible for all equipment preventive maintenance. Supports safety program to ensure OSHA standards are met. Maintain facility cleanliness initiatives in accordance with TEVET standards.
  • Manage all leased properties as the primary point of contact for TEVET, LLC or TEVET Technology Solutions. Work with Real Estate agents to prepare, market, and show properties. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure all equipment is operational. Oversee and manage all federal and state mandates regarding proper safety protocols in the workplace.
  • Responsible for safety and security policies including building physical security plan, coordination of building fire drills, exit plan, security coverage, coordination with local responders, attend security related meetings as needed internally and with Greene County. Develop training programs to train employees on EH&S policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist in the design and development of facility improvements and renovations. Perform routine EH&S Audits and maintain performance metrics and provide guidance and recommendations to leadership on activities for improvement.
  • Supervise warehouse operations ensuring efficiency, on-time shipments, quality, and a safe working environment. Maintain 100% accuracy with customer deliveries. Coordinate delivery trucks for local and regional deliveries. Develop shipping processes that meet the unique requirements of the customer. Optimize shipping and delivery operations through the development and management of key metrics.
  • Receive deliveries and freight from various vendors and utilize the Warehouse Management System to store material in accordance with established procedures. This also includes repackaging of products found to be in damaged cartons, re-stacking and organization of pallets, and continuous optimum organization of all racks, staging lanes and aisle-ways.
  • Cooperate with Quality to establish and enforce quality standards and require compliance from all warehouse personnel daily. Collaborate with others to establish and maintain a high level of morale within the facility and throughout the company by promoting a teamwork environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory by organizing storage area, conducting physical counts, and reconciling variances. Maintain inventory locator system. Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation. Incorporate all requirements regarding rotation of inventory, LIFO/FIFO, obsolescence, and shelf-life.
  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
  • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required.
