About The Position

The Warehouse Equipment Operator is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security and productivity. This includes the operation of forklift equipment to locate, relocate and stack product.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Ability to operate a forklift. Forklift certification preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• 6 to 12 months experience
• Computer proficiency and Microsoft Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
• Order Pulls: Accurately and efficiently pull product for fulfillment or shipping.
• Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Equipment: Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• Verify rack and row locations within warehouse and perform inventory physical and cycle counts using available inventory management system reports
• Follows safety standards and procedures. Reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Lead.
• Performs pre-operation safety inspection of material handling equipment. Reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Lead.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Complete sanitation duties as assigned.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA standards.
• Other Duties: Charge forklift battery as needed; participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, stacking and re-stacking as needed; repair pallets when necessary.
• Keep systems properly updated and accurate.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
