About The Position

The Order Puller (full case) locates, pulls, and stages customer materials for shipment based on daily pick tickets, while maintaining accurate accounting of internal transactions, placement, and movement of material. Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks by securing material prior to handling or storing and by operating at reasonable speeds and control. Levels- Fork lift, Reach lift Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others Pull, process and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and parts Responsible for shipping, pulling orders and completing required paperwork Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent addition and subtraction math skills
  • Competent literacy skills to read orders and labels without transposing part numbers
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching
  • Walking and/or standing up to 10 hours per day, 6 days per week if applicable
  • Repetitive grasping and twisting with hands
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to occasionally climb stairs to retrieve stock items

Nice To Haves

  • Powered Industrial Truck Certified is preferred
  • Basic computer skills
