The employee in this position will be responsible for making local deliveries daily in a warehouse vehicle between one or more locations. This role also requires general warehouse knowledge of operations such as picking and pulling orders.

Requirements

General warehouse knowledge of warehouse operations such as picking and pulling orders.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
Clean driving record.
Medical card.
Pre-employment drug screening will be required post offer.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience.
Class A CDL.
Experience in the water/sewer utilities field.

Responsibilities

Follow safety rules and work procedures.
Prepare receipts for load picked up.
May maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
May load and unload truck.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
May perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
Cleans work area or vehicle.
Performs other duties as needed.
