About The Position

Hanley Energy is a fast-growing business and your duties will include working closely with the Warehouse Manager to oversee and maintain smooth transition of stock and logistics in the warehouse. In this role as a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible in assisting the Manager to control the amount of stock kept within the warehouse, ensuring the correct quantities of materials/components arrive, and delivering them on time at the correct location. For any business to succeed, it is very crucial to guarantee the safe arrival of finished products to our customers. Hanley Energy is a busy company within the Critical Power & Energy Management Industry so you will have to be the type of person who can handle changing priorities, who can deal with multiple tasks and who has an outgoing personality to always be welcoming and friendly both face to face and over the phone.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in warehouse environment
  • Excellent PC skills-excel & word
  • Strong networking, influencing and communication skills
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Have a background in warehouse, Stock or Deliveries
  • Be able to understand technical and engineering parts
  • Previous experience delivering product
  • Valid US driver’s licence and clean driving record
  • Be able to make out-of-state deliveries
  • Over-night travel required

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming deliveries, check for damage and discrepancies between delivery document and actual receipts.
  • Store products in designated locations and record product into stock.
  • Process any products returned and return to appropriate location.
  • Process non-conforming material as per documented procedure.
  • Contribute to the optimisation of the warehouse space.
  • Ensure all product within the warehouse and vehicles is monitored/recorded.
  • Making sure documentation is correct on incoming and outgoing products.
  • Liaise with other departments including purchasing, sales, etc. to identify and resolve any stock issues that may impact on the efficient operation of the business.
  • Arrange logistics for dispatching products on time, ensuring they are being tracked.
  • Organise and prepare shipments of stock for dispatch to site/customer.
  • Deliver and/or relocate materials in a safe and timely manner using a box truck or steak-body vehicle.
  • Collect proof of deliveries and upload to the appropriate database.
  • Upkeep of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are always clean and secure.
  • Make multi-destination deliveries to clients out of state
